In a tragic accident, a London woman was killed yesterday when a pair of wooden window frames fell on her, crushing her. Paramedics tried to help, but pronounced the woman, believed to be in her 20s, dead at the scene. "She was just passing and then she was suddenly lying on the pavement," said a witness. Added another: "Her eyes were open and I saw her hand move and then I think I saw her last breath and then the light went out, she'd gone." The building's ground floor is being converted to an art gallery; scaffolding had been removed weeks earlier, the BBC reports. A witness says the windows measured 10 feet by 10 feet.
