The Phillies lost 10-6 to the Braves last night, putting them two games behind the Mets for the National League East lead with 5 games remaining for both. The loss also dropped them to one game behind the Padres, who beat San Francisco 7-6, in the race for the National League wild card.
Philly favorite Jimmy Rollins hit a solo homer in the first, making him just the second player in team history to hit 30 homers and steal 30 bases in a season, as well as the first player in major league history to have at least 200 hits, 15 triples, 25 homers and 25 steals in the same year.
