Iran says it has received a US reply to its latest proposal to end the conflict, though Washington has not publicly confirmed sending a response. A spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry said the American message passed through Pakistan and is under review, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency. Iranian outlets say Tehran's 14-point plan calls for US forces to pull back from areas near Iran's borders, for a halt to the naval blockade of Iranian ports, and for an end to all fighting, including Israel's campaign in Lebanon, the BBC reports. The plan reportedly seeks a final agreement within 30 days and urges the sides to prioritize ending the war rather than extending the current ceasefire.

President Trump told reporters in Florida on Saturday that he had been briefed on the "concept" of Iran's proposal but had not yet seen the exact language. He posted on Truth Social that Iran "has not yet paid a big enough price" for its actions over past decades. Asked about renewed US strikes on Iranian targets, he said they're possible should Iran "misbehave," adding "we're not leaving" the conflict. Trump said the US should stay involved to avoid returning in "two years or five years." Special envoy Steve Witkoff told CNN that the US and Iran are still negotiating.
