Louis CK is back, apparently? The comedian announced, in what EW refers to as a "rare email update" to subscribers of his mailing list Sunday, that he's going on a 14-city international comedy tour starting Nov. 2 in Virginia. The tour, which concludes Jan. 31 in New Orleans, includes multiple US stops as well as shows in Israel, Rome, and Slovakia, and CK says in a note on his website that he will be adding more dates. "I am on the road doing professional stand-up comedy. Which consists of sharing jokes, stories, observations, lies, non-lies, and being generally ridiculous for the benefit of a laughing audience," he says in the note.

Tickets are the only thing currently available on the site. "You may have noticed that louisck.com (that's my website) has been down for a while," the comedian notes in his email to subscribers. "This is because I'm redesigning the site (I mean someone talented who I hired is). The full site will be back in a month or so. The same products will be available and a few new ones." For those whose memories are fuzzy, CK admitted that accusations of sexual misconduct that emerged in 2017 were true; there were career repercussions and for a while he laid low. He returned to stand-up in 2018 with sets at New York City's Comedy Cellar, sets that proved controversial and got him heckled due to jokes about rape whistles, Parkland survivors, and his own scandal. He responded by ... threatening his audiences with legal action if they leaked his jokes. (More Louis CK stories.)
