The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission on Sunday suspended Luis Saez for 15 race days, citing "failure to controI his mount" or "maintain a straight course thereby causing interference with several rivals that resuIted in the disqualification of his mount." His attorneys say they plan to appeal and claim that "every single jockey" who saw a video of the race absolved Saez. The jockey's suspension will run from May 23 to June 14, which includes the Belmont Stakes on June 8, per Yahoo Sports.
