(AP Photo/Mike Carlson) (Associated Press) Sidney Crosby returned from a six-week layoff to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 2-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 20-year-old had been out since January with a high ankle sprain, but there didn’t appear to be any lingering effects as Crosby set up multiple scoring chances, with Maxime Talbot finally lighting the lamp with 2:47 remaining, reports the Associated Press. Another valuable Penguin made his return to the lineup as goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury had 35 saves to earn his first shutout since November. Evgeni Malkin scored the Penguins final tally on an empty-netter with 5 seconds remaining; he is now just one point behind Alexander Ovechkin for the NHL lead. Mike Smith had 21 saves in the loss.
