(AP Photo/ Los Angeles Times, Al Seib, Pool) Contradicting reports that TSA agent Gerardo Hernandez lay bleeding for a half-hour and may have been saved, the Los Angeles County coroner's office has said Hernandez died two to five minutes after he was shot multiple times inside LAX, the LA Times reports. "Some of the reporting on this incident was highly irresponsible," the LAPD chief said, per CBS. "All the facts indicate that any action taken by responding officers or medical personnel would not have saved Officer Hernandez's life." An investigation into police response is ongoing; a final autopsy report is expected today. Meanwhile, CBS also reports that accused gunman Paul Ciancia has been released from the hospital and is in the custody of the US Marshals.
