The school bus monitor who was tormented ruthlessly by young bullies has decided to pack up and retire, the AP reports. Karen Klein, 68, said she's not giving up her 3-year gig of watching over school children because it was too difficult. "I'm not quitting because of what happened. That's not it," she said. "I enjoyed working with the kids. But I guess it's my time to leave. That's what I've decided." Another possible motive: The online fundraising campaign designed to give her a $5,000 vacation has raised a total of $703,833.
