Travel | Ryanair Ryanair's Latest Idea: In-Flight Porn But don't worry ... you'd watch it on your phone, which is so much more private! By Kate Seamons Posted Nov 9, 2011 10:06 AM CST Copied In this May 10, 2009 file picture, an aircraft by Ryanair is about to take off at the airport in Bremen, northern Germany. (AP Photo/Joerg Sarbach, file) "Ryanair" and "conservative" aren't two words you typically see in the same sentence, so the airline's latest harebrained idea shouldn't come as too much of a surprise: in-flight porn. Yep, Ryanair honcho Michael O'Leary would like to bring the steamy pay-per-view hotel room experience to his aircraft. But don't fret, he tells the Sun. "I'm not talking about having it on screens on the back of seats for everyone to see. It would be on handheld devices." Way better, right? He envisions a Ryanair app that fliers could log on to via iPad or smartphone. Once connected, they could gamble, play games, or view X-rated cinema. "Hotels around the world have it, so why wouldn't we?" Why not, indeed. A rep for the airline notes that "nothing has been decided as yet." The Sun adds that if approved, it would take at least a year to bring the idea to life. Read These Next University does 180 on professor fired for Charlie Kirk post.
